MISSION

Light of Life Church exists to be a lighthouse, shining the light of Christ in the darkness for those seeking the TRUTH and LIFE that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

GOSPEL-CENTERED MINISTRY

The truth of the gospel is at the core of true Christian ministry. The gospel simply means "good news". Christ came to earth to die a sacrificial, substitutionary death to satisfy the wrath of God toward us because of our sin. We are forgiven, justified, and reconciled to God as we repent of our sin and place our trust in Christ and His atoning work on the cross for salvation. We are given the free gift of eternal life, a life we get to enjoy with Christ both in this life, through the abiding presence of the Holy Sprit, and in the life to come, when we will see Him face to face. This is good news indeed!

Paul warned the early church to stay true to the gospel message, and to be careful of allowing false teaching to seep into their theology that would diminish the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We find ourselves living in a similar time, where the Gospel is often diluted, distorted, and even omitted from religious culture today.

Without a clear, accurate presentation of the gospel, there is no salvation, and we are powerless to effect real change in the lives of people. The Apostle Paul makes this point clear in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." LOLC is committed to proclaiming the gospel and living out the Gospel in all areas of life.

LOVING COMMUNITY OF FAITH

In John 13:35 Jesus says, "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." We seek to cultivate a love for those inside and outside the church, where all people are welcome, regardless of gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic background, or any other barrier that would keep people from coming to church and finding new life in Christ. We believe we are called by Christ to love one another as a community of faith in a way that bears witness to the Love of Christ.
